Cookware & serving miscellany
Whether cooking medieval-style over open fires or setting up your dining rood table at home, there are a number of miscellaneous articles of pottery that are useful but don't fit neatly into the category of plate, cup, or bowl.
Pipkins: medieval cooking pots--taking the place of our sauce pots
Butterbells: also known as french butter dishes, the dish consists of two parts: the lower cup which is filled with water, and the inverted cup portion in which the butter goes.
Casserole: lidded baking dish, often with lids that will stand upturned by itself.
Below are examples of prices based on size and complexity of decoration. Not included below are prices for optional handles or lids, which range by cup size from one to five dollars per handle. There are exceptions to this rough scale, so for precise and current pricing of a given piece or custom order, please email us.
